-HRDC has provided legal expertise for numerous laws such as “On measures against violence in family relations”, and its sublegal acts, “Law on the control of HIV/AIDS”, and “Children’s Maltreatment”. Also, HRDC contributed to draft “National Strategy on Gender Equality and Reduction of Gender Based Violence 2011-2015”.

-In 2009, as an active NGO, HRDC has been one of the main contributors of drafting of human rights report “Human Rights Situation in Albania”, the first attempt of a group of organizations of human rights in Albania, for jointly preparing a full report on the situation of human rights. HRDC was one of the organizing NGOs for preparation of report

-On May 24, 2010, HRDC became member of Network of Coordinated Response System, and signed a Memorandum of Collaboration, along with relevant stakeholders in charge of addressing the DV Law. This formalized system aims at protection and treatment of victims of domestic violence.

-HRDC offers free legal aid service to vulnerable groups in Tirana, Kamza, and its suburbs,   and Tropoja district. Target are victims of domestic violence, citizens whose rights of violated by state organs.

-HRDC is one of  very few domestic organizations that guarantee the right of women to have access to justice by representing them to the court.

-Based on article 15 of Law no. 9669 dated on 18.12.2006 "On Measures against Violence in Family Relations" NGO are entitled to issue documents and submit them to the court as legal evidence. HRDC is the first domestic NGO which has provided to its clients, victims of Domestic violence Psycho-Social Evaluation Reports which serve as important evidence to the court and support women to be equipped with Protection Orders

-In 2011, HRDC has proposed amendments to ISKSH related to inclusion into the package of primary care services mammography examination (mammography service should be part of health package and applied in Policlinics). HRDC proposes that mammography’s screening should be gratis for non active persons according to the law no. 7870 dated on 13.10.1994 “For health insurances in the Republic of Albania” amended, where target are persons that are included in the economical scheme, social assistance and unemployed.

-HRDC is listed among few domestic organization which has trained health workers staff of Tirana and Tropoja on legal requirements and has built health workers capacities to respond effectively to victims of domestic violence

-Institutionalization of collaboration through signature of Cooperation Agreements with state institutions, such as Police Directorate, Network of Domestic Violence, Directorate of Prisons, Detention Institutions 313
